World Piano Day Awards

World Piano Day is looking for outstanding young pianists to perform live at our concert in AMUZ, Antwerp, on 20 March 2027 — and one of them will be invited back in 2028 to perform as soloist with orchestra.

Who can apply

​

Pianists of all nationalities, aged 24 or under on the day of the final

(20 March 2027), with at least 2 years of piano study at a conservatory, academy, or with a recognised teacher.

How it works

​

1. Submit a video of up to 5 minutes, any repertoire of your choice, recorded within the last 12 months. No travel required to apply. You may submit up to 3 videos; the €30 entry fee applies to each video submitted.

2. A jury selects up to 4 finalists from all submissions.

3. The finalists perform live (solo, up to 5 minutes) as part of the World Piano Day concert in AMUZ, Antwerp, on 20 March 2027.

4. The jury selects the winner of the 2027 edition from among the finalists.

What finalists receive

• A performance fee of €250.

• Gift vouchers.

• A free ticket to the concert, and a 20% discount code for family and friends.

The 2027 winner is invited back to perform as soloist with orchestra at World Piano Day 2028.
