World Piano Day AMUZ Antwerp
Composer and pianist Johan Famaey will celebrate World Piano Day 2024 with a cinematic and Spanish-inspired program in which the piano takes center stage. The leading roles are played by a pianist Johan Famaey, conductor Dirk Brosse, symphonic orchestra Excellent La Musica, solo violinist Marina Martín Maldonado and National Children's Choir of Belgium.

Johan Famaey
Johan Famaey played and composed numerous works with and for various ensembles and orchestras in Europe and China.
He is known for his piano and film scores, including 'Moon Touch', 'Moon Wish', 'Back to Selene' and 'Time Passenger'.
In 2020 his musical opera 'Hors' was performed in Dendermonde by a 150-piece orchestra and choir.

Dirk Brossé
Dirk Brossé, an internationally acclaimed conductor and award-winning composer, is currently Music Director of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and Music Director of the Ghent Film Festival.
He is also professor of composition and conducting at the School of Arts / Royal Conservatory of Music in his native city of Ghent, Belgium.

Marina Martín Maldonado
Marina Martín Maldonado, born in Madrid in 1995, is a classical violinist acclaimed by the public for her finesse and musical sensitivity.
Her virtuosity and musical passion have already brought her to important stages in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany and the UK.
